Bullion

Gold Bullion is valuable precious metal. It comes in two main forms: Bullion bars and bullion coins. What makes it gold bullion is that its value is set entirely from its content of precious metal.

Unlike jewelry, or decorative coins, gold bullion has no artistic characteristic in its value. It’s value is simply dericed into it’s monetary benefit.

Bullion traditionally stands for gold bars, silver bars, other precious metals bars or ingots. The word bullion comes from the old French word bouillon, which meant “boiling” and was the term for a mint or melting house.

The large bars are an efficient way to buy and store physical gold.
